Dr. Rodden not only saved my eye but my life when he diagnosed a Melanoma in my right eye. It did require radiation in the eye and I did loose all but my peripheral vision in that eye. Without his assistance I would have lost my eye. I can’t thank him enough.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Hyatt since August 2017 for treatment of Central Serous Retinopathy. He and the entire staff at the Ashland offices have always been extremely thorough, professional and forthcoming with all the information I needed. My husband had a torn retina and hemorrhage on Christmas. Dr Hyatt and his staff were SO accommodating in getting him in quickly and repairing the tear and in seeing him again on New Years Day over a new development. “Unique” is a word that comes to mind to describe the Retina & Vitreous Center business. I was an emergency patient for a torn retina in the distant past, then again in the other eye just a couple months ago. 17 years ago, I was moved for the first time in my life to write a letter of praise and appreciation to the staff, doctors, and the people in charge of hiring/training. At every contact step, from front desk, technician, assistant, doctor, and even billing, every person has been knowledgeable, pleasant, and caring. And after 17 years, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the same care and competency is still in place today. In my 63 years, and 40+ years of business ownership, I can assure you, it is definitely “unique” to find a business (in any profession) so well staffed and run for both a positive process and professional result. Having little experience regarding eye problems, I was experiencing PVD (unknowingly) and developed some concerning symptoms. I was amazed to get an appointment quckly on the weekend!! Dr Gill and Lexy were amazing. So thankful for their knowledge and work.
