ASCRS Congress Training

ASCRS Foundation Run for Sight 2017The ASCRS Congress training that Jeanna and Jamie attended was held at the LA Convention Center. They stayed at the fabulous Hotel O.

A lot of the focus this year was on teamwork between all departments for better success of the practice, detailed billing updates, and implementation of MACRA/MIPS.

The ladies took classes on better coding practices, better communication between front office/back office, and more knowledge of the retina diseases in our clinic. The best classes in Jamie’s opinion were the classes around A/R and Revenue Cycle of the practice. The best classes, in Jeanna’s opinion, were those related to improving communication between staff, meeting patient’s needs and compliance/documentation.

They took part in a wonderful evening at LA Exchange club that was hosted by the ASOA. They also walked their hearts out in the Run for Sight. Jeanna and Jamie enjoyed their lunches out at Cleo LA Live and Rosa Mexicano. In the evenings they would unwind at De Vine Bar and Lounge.
