After receiving an injection of the steroid Triesence (triamcinolone acetonide) for your retinal condition, you may notice string-like strands or large "floaters," and these usually diasappear within 7 to 10 days. Your vision may be blurry for the first 3-5 days post injection. Your eye may be red for 2-3 weeks post injection.

Eye irritation is often due to a combination of problems involving the tear film and the eyelids. We typically recommend a combination approach in order to maintain the best environment for your eyes.

• We will try to call you the day after your laser surgery to answer your questions or concerns. Sometimes patients may experience transcient blurry vision or blank spots after laser surgery. Let the technician know if you are experiencing these or any other visual symptoms.
