We are located in Ashland, Oregon at the south end of the Rogue Valley, and are dedicated to bringing our region the best in retinal eyecare. We use state-of-the-art lasers, injections, and therapies in a compassionate and efficient environment. We also offer same-day evaluations, diagnostics and treatments. Eye surgeries are performed by our physicians at the Ashland Community Hospital, located across the street.
Our physicians and staff strive to do everything possible during your visit to ensure you are clear about your diagnosis, treatment options and expected course of care.Your physician, eye care specialist, ophthalmologist or optometrist has referred you to us for specialized eye care. Our full-time retina specialists -- Dr. William Rodden and Dr. Christine R. Gonzales -- are fully trained M.D. ophthalmologists who have completed additional training in vitreoretinal surgery. They regularly perform medical and laser surgeries using the latest techniques, and they continue to participate in national studies and medical seminars to stay at the forefront of surgical breatkthroughs, new technology, and cutting-edge medical treatments.
The entire staff of the Retina and Vitreous Center strives in every way to care for our patients with compassion, expertise and excellence. Our goal is for each patient to feel completely comfortable and satisfied with the care he or she receives from us.
We will work closely with your referring eye care specialist, your primary care physician, and other members of your health care team to provide the comprehensive care you need. Because many retinal problems are complex, we also remain available for follow-up education.
