The Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides vital sight and hearing assistance to Oregonians who are uninsured or under insured. About 600,000 Oregonians live under these unfortunate circumstances. The Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation impacted the lives of more than 137,000 children and adults last year. Every day more and more people are seeking their assistance, but currently they are low on funds.
Doctors from our medical office recently examined a patient who needed an emergency surgery to help prevent one of his eyes from becoming severely visually impaired. Our patient could not have his surgery until he received assistance from the Lions Foundation because he is not currently insured. Thankfully, the Lions Foundation was able to come through and cover his procedure; but limited funds caused a delayed response. Timely procedures are crucial to prevent the loss of vital eyesight.
The Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation celebrated its 50th Anniversary this year. Our event was an opportunity to contribute to an effective organization that offers critical health solutions.
Our gratitude to the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation drives our motivation to do everything we can to help continue their fiscal success. We greatly appreciated all contributions made during this successful event. We hope that you enjoyed taking part in an evening of fun and entertainment, as well as the opportunity to help support the people in need of our community. All businesses that donated to our silent auction were recognized for their contributions. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Funds that were raised from this event went directly to the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
